Kristi Lucas-Mrs. Oregon 2020/2021

Grateful, appreciated, respected, energized, motivated...these are real and relevant feelings I get to experience everyday as Mrs. Oregon Universal.. As a woman who has competed in multiple different systems, at different times in my life, I can honestly say today, as a member of the Mrs. Universal program, I have never felt more complete as a titleholder. The joy and gratitude that I continue to feel day by day is hard to sum up into words. From the onset the National Director Victoria Hughes and the national titleholders have welcomed me with open arms. Not knowing if I would return to the stage again, I started researching Mrs. pageants until I finally selected to apply with Mrs. USA Universal. This was predominately because of their initial approach to recruitment, which is very simply-communication!! Every call, email and message was returned immediately with a plethora of information to answer all of my questions. I never felt at a loss for what I was signing up for. I solidified my decision to apply after seeing their involvement within the pageant industry and affiliated leaders as well as the long history of success (the awards shown speak truth). This organization stands and promotes its objective to give each of us our own voice, standing for what we believe in; making a positive difference in each of our communities. I am honored to say I am lifelong #sashsister to my Universal family I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a pageant that will make you feel appreciated, stay engaged with your goals, put on an amazing National and International pageant and giveaway a tremendous prize package to apply today!

I have never been held to a higher standard as a titleholder than in this system. Victoria has shown me how to expect more from myself and do more because my title of Mrs. California USA Universal is more than a title. It’s been an opportunity to serve others, share a message of resilience with others and create change for others. It’s a title about others, not myself. She holds us accountable while giving us more tools of how to be available and involved. The Mrs. USA Universal system has made me feel so wanted and given me the gift of an amazing sisterhood. Thank you I really have the coolest sisters!

Monika Philp-Mrs. Nebraska 2020/2021

This is my first time competing in a pageant and the experience so far has been wonderful! I am really impressed with all the beautiful difference-makers this pageant attracts. I love the support and empowerment of the director and other sisters. The director and current title holder are approachable, real and very helpful. This experience has been truly amazing causing me to grow and become the best version of myself while serving my community. I highly recommend this organization.

Kristen Ayers-Mrs. Ohio 2020/2021

This is my first national pageant and I have felt extremely welcomed so far. I am looking forward to the ENTIRE experience starting with all of the connections I am already making. My national director is supportive, so down-to-earth, and beautiful! I am a very lucky woman right now. I love the introductions this organization has made possible for me and I am so grateful to be making a difference.

Competing in pageants as an adult newbie can be intimidating, but Victoria, her staff, and the other contestants in the Mrs. Universal system have truly created a culture of acceptance. I am so humbled and proud to be part of the Mrs. USA Universal family.

Since day one, pageant director Victoria Hughes have been amazing to work with and I have the utmost respect for her. My experience with the Universal pageant system so far have been only positive and amazing, and I have already built some life lasting relationships with my fellow sash sisters. I cannot say enough about this pageant system!

I have dreamed since I was a little girl of being in a pageant and representing my state on a national stage but always had doubts on personal ability to do so. During this pandemic I have wanted to find ways to discover and pursue joy and hope and a goal, so I signed up and have been so pleased with the personal growth I have achieved by using my title page to project my voice and share my truth. Even more so, impressed and honored to work with Victoria. She has been an incredibly informative director, encouraging and compassionate and wonderful to talk to. She's a wealth of knowledge and gives sound advice to help us each be the best queen we can be. She has become a good friend through this journey and I am honored to represent her brand and be part of the Universal sisterhood.

The Universal Pageant system is the true definition of a sisterhood. From the directors, to the titleholders, to the contestants, they all work together and support each other’s platforms. These ladies are all a real class act. I could not be more proud to be involved in such an incredible organization.

I have competed in adult pageants since 2006. I have tried different systems in different states, and I have never had as positive of an experience as with the Universal system and Director Victoria Hughes. The reigning title holders are inspirational and incredible women. My fellow contestants are kind and welcoming and supportive. This has truly been life-changing; I cannot say enough good things about this system and these women.

Christy Hinnant-Mrs. Universal 2019

The Universal system is one of a kind. They are truly a pageant system that empowers women, values community service, and even recognizes its contestants for all their community work. As married women I find it that we are often giving and working within our communities so I knew that community service had to be a part of the pageant system I decide to choose. So many pageants “just talk” about valuing service, but the Universal pageant truly walks the walk as they are the only Mrs. system that recognizes its contestants with Presidential Volunteer Service Award. The director treats all of her contestants with the upmost respect and she truly values each one of them. The Universal system has been nothing but amazing to me and one that I will always cherish, respect, and have a special place in my heart.

I had the most amazing experience and time at the Mrs. Universal pageant competing. This system is well run, fun and I made lifetime friendships! I LOVE this pageant system. It celebrates the uniqueness of each woman and supports her dreams.

It was my first time competing in a pageant. I found the experience amazing as the director Victoria was always understanding and so supportive. Her guidance and care was inspiring as it truly demonstrates the pageant sisterhood at it's finest. I found my previous Queens to be amazing and compassionate woman who I look up to with great pride and honor. I am so very fortunate to have competed in such an amazing pageant system. Mrs Universal Pageant, thank you for changing my life and creating such a wonderful experience.

Mrs. Universal Elegance 2018 (formerly Mrs. Washington)

When I decided to compete in a pageant for married women, I was determined to find a system that would support my personal convictions and importance of volunteering and community service. My research led me to the Universal Pageant System and that is where my search ended. I knew the Universal Pageant System was a perfect fit! I completely embody the foundational roots of the Universal System and its brand. The Universal System celebrates women of all sizes, shapes, races, personal backgrounds, and experience.  This system focuses on women who have strong moral and ethical principles, are highly dedicated to community service, and extremely motivated to empower, mentor, and encourage others.

The words Dare.Dream.Believe resonated significantly with me. By entering and competing in the Universal Pageant, I would Dare myself to improve upon and build my self-confidence by venturing outside of my comfort zone; I would Dare myself to connect with non-profit organizations and businesses throughout my community to enhance my networking contacts with those who have similar interests and pursuits; and finally, I would Dare myself to be my best self. I would Dream of the positive influence I would have on others through my volunteerism and stewardship; I would Dream of being empowered to making a difference within my community, state, and at a national level; and finally, I would Dream of partnering and collaborating with organizations that share my vision of improving, supporting, and helping others. I Believe in myself and I will be successful at accomplishing my Dares, Dreams, and goals.

I believe that Victoria’s view of encouraging women to continue to pursue their passion for their choice of platform is innovative and unlike many other pageant systems. I was thrilled to learn that the titleholder would be able to focus her energies on being involved with her platform and supported to promote her cause to a larger audience. The Universal Organization is so devoted to community involvement, that Victoria offers the President’s Volunteer Service Award which congratulates volunteer service hours both as a group and individually. Victoria is a unique founder/owner/director that sets her apart from other pageant systems. She is always accessible, communicates to the group to ensure everyone is current with organizational updates, willing to answer any and all questions with honesty and truth, encourages everyone equally, and motivates everyone to be their best selves.

The Universal Pageant System’s past and current titleholders are incredibly beautiful inside and out. Their individual qualities are evident through their true authenticity, mentoring of others, and dedication to community service that they exhibit unselfishly. Any wonderful lady that is honored to being crowned will continue to represent the Universal Brand and Legacy with genuine grace, beauty, and truth. You will be sincerely welcomed into the Universal Family that will celebrate and applaud your uniqueness!

It is rare to find a system that truly embraces the empowerment and support of women, by women. I found that in this system. Genuine, kind women and the most amazing director and staff. If you are looking for a fun, fair, well-organized organization that affords you the opportunity to surround yourself with women who will lift you up and one in which you can be authentically you, this is it!

Rachel Bogle
Ms. USA Universal 2018 (formerly Ms. Indiana Universal )

I hadn’t participated in a pageant for nearly ten years prior to stepping on stage as a contestant with the Universal Pageants system, nor had I even planned on competing again. However, there was something about this program that pulled me in.

I’ve spent the better part of the last decade as a volunteer and local director for the Miss America Organization (in which I used to compete) and often found myself telling the girls I mentored, “If I only knew then what I know now…” One day, my light bulb moment occurred: If I know these things now, what’s stopping me?

I researched for over a year for the organization I felt best fit my values and mission. It didn’t take long to realize that Universal Pageants were a perfect fit. Service was a key pillar for me when it came to choosing Universal. Many pageants talk the talk when it comes to valuing service, but the Universal pageant truly walks the walk as a Presidential Volunteer Service Award certifying organization. This year alone, I walked away with not only the title of Ms. USA Universal 2018, but also the gold award for over 500 hours of volunteer service over the past year. What speaks volumes, however, is that I was one of many in my Universal pageant class to earn this honor. In total, our 2018 contestants dedicated over 7,500 volunteer hours over the past year which earned Universal Pageants the group PVSA gold award for the second year in a row.

For me, pageants have been an incredibly valuable vehicle for creating opportunities to serve my community, make my voice [and the voices of others] heard, advocate for my fellow domestic violence survivors and to help me meet driven, like-minded women. This pageant has helped me do all the above and more.

From the beginning, there was an established sense of community thanks to our director, Victoria Hughes. She created a space for us to build comradery with reigning titleholders and our fellow contestants so by the time we all traveled to Omaha for the pageant, we already felt like friends rather than competitors.

In that same sense of sisterhood and comradery, our theme this year was “Girls Support Girls.” It’s a theme that we took to heart not only the competition or for our year of service, but as a lifestyle mantra. We cheered one another on through victories, leaned on one another or shared motivating words during stressful times, shared one another’s platform-related initiatives and have maintained that “Girls Support Girls” attitude and sisterhood even after the competition.
Leadership comes from the top and Victoria has been a pillar of strength, positivity and determination. In a world where pageants are often questioned when it comes to relevance or body image and mental health, she has cultivated a healthy pageant atmosphere that empowers all women—regardless of shape, size, background, or experience level—and gives them the opportunity to thrive as an individual and serve as an ambassador for their cause within an organization that was built on integrity.

I am so honored to be part of the Universal Pageant family and to have the opportunity to serve as Ms. USA Universal 2018. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for us as a pageant program because I know not only will our sisterhood continue to grow and strengthen, but so will our legacy.

GIRLS SUPPORT GIRLS is what the Universal Pageant is all about!

After watching Amanda Reinert win Mrs. Universal 2017, I was inspired to join as Mrs. Nebraska Universal, and what a wonderful journey it is to join together as strong, empowering women!

The Universal system truly is like no other! I had never competed in the Universal system before, but from the beginning of my state title, the planning, passion and commitment from Victoria truly showed and shows in everything she does! Her heart is passionate in helping each woman feel welcomed, special and valued in this system! From the pageant week of planning and scheduling, everything was in order and made us feel valued!

The Presidential Volunteer Award is an outstanding feature and as titleholders, we combined over 7,500 hours! It is a huge group accomplishment and one of my favorite things about the Universal System. Setting a positive example for our children by serving in our communities, states and around the world is also what I believe is a tremendous part of the Universal pageant.

As women we support, encourage and uplift each other!
The amazing friendships are not just during pageant week, but lifelong. I was so excited after the first day in our pageant week, how real, treasured and supportive each woman was and is! Each person brought unique talents to an amazing TEAM of GIRLS SUPPORT GIRLS!

By joining the Universal Pageant means you become a family of STRONG, confident, hard working women serving together to make our world a better place for future generations.

I believe that you can live a purpose-driven life and a fun, glamorous life at the same time. The Universal Pageant system is the perfect representation of this. This system is truly something special, and my experience has been like no other. While each queen in our system is beautiful, they are also encouraged to celebrate what makes them unique! This is no cookie-cutter pageant where each contestant looks the same. Our director Victoria makes sure that each woman presents herself in a way that feels natural and authentic to her. I heard many women say pageant weekend that they'd
never felt more "like themselves" at a pageant - myself included!

Each queen is afforded the opportunity to be acknowledged through the President's Volunteer Service Award, which means you will find a group of women dedicated to their communities, causes and public service. I was in awe of my pageant class and their long-term and deep dedication to their platforms. When it came time to call a winner, I would have been proud to see ANY of the contestants represent me and this system.

This is truly a pageant where all sides of women are welcomed and celebrated. Thank you to Victoria for your vision.

The Universal Pageant system not only encourages, but actually wants each contestant to be themselves. I’ve heard of other pageant directors trying to sway contestant platforms. You will not get that here. Victoria (Pageant Director) encourages each contestant to do what excites them and own it. This system is for authentic and enthusiastic women looking to make a difference. Universal is not just about a pretty face/body. This pageant looks highly on community service and involvement. This year I had the great opportunity to receive a bronze metal for the President’s Volunteer Service Award. As a group we received gold w ith over 7,500 volunteer hours. The “Girls Support Girls” mantra rang true during pageant week and even after the titles were handed out. For example, I didn’t have a car to get around. One of my competitors graciously offered to give me rides. Another competitor of mine let me borrow her steamer to steam the formal gown I would use for competition. After everything was over the new title holders were congratulated by their peers. I saw no hard feelings and heard no harsh words. This was my very first pageant, but from what I have heard, this is an accomplishment all on it’s own.

Amanda Reinert- Mrs. USA Universal 2017 & Mrs. Universal 2017

I have been participating in pageantry since I was 6 years old. My reasons and motivations have changed greatly over the years--playing dress up and making friends, scholarship money and now promoting my life's purpose to protect our children. Never in all my years of competing have I experienced a pageant system that I was so excited to be the face of--both as Mrs. Nebraska and Mrs. US Universal, and now Mrs. Universal.

  • This system stands for female empowerment, community involvement, family, integrity and honesty.
  • This system allows married women who are getting lost in the hustle and bustle of every day life to focus on themselves, their passions and their personal growth. It has connected me with women from all over the world and allowed me the microphone to do things with my platform I could have never dreamed of!
Victoria is a one of a kind director-she runs this pageant with her heart and soul and that is apparent in everyone you meet including her staff and judges. This is a pageant that makes EVERY woman feel like family and values them for the beautiful gifts they bring to the table. The Universal pageant has allowed me to grow leaps and bounds over the past 9 months and it's an opportunity I wish EVERY woman to experience. The chance to focus on a cause near and dear to your heart, to feel loved and included and to of course-get on stage and feel like a princess.

Kimberly Bader - Mrs. Texas USA Universal 2017, 4th runner-up

The US Universal system is my first experience competing in any pageant, and as Mrs. Texas 2017, I have the freedom to promote a platform that I created and believe in, and to uphold with the utmost integrity the brand that Victoria has carefully established. This system empowers real women from all backgrounds to come together with the common goal of having their voices heard. We are given the opportunity to advocate not just on a state level, but the friendships we make with other state delegates are so genuine, that we actively promote each others platforms on a national level even months before we meet in person at pageant week.
The Universal pageant has allowed me to grow positively as a wife, mother, friend, and business woman. When I DAREd to compete, I researched several Mrs. pageants and chose the Universal system because it was important for me to show our son that strong women who are involved in their communities are not an exception. My husband and son are proud and actively involved in my DREAM to develop my platform and attend appearances with me around the state. I worked hard and BELIEVEd that if I had done my job as Mrs. Texas, I would make the Top 5 at the Mrs. USA Universal finals, and I did! You really can do anything you put your mind to when you have the support of Victoria and her staff, because they truly care about each delegate and have your best interests at heart.
I was 98% stress free during pageant week, and the outgoing queens Ms. US Universal Kristina Marinkovich and Mrs. USA Universal Kimberly Beaudoin calmed nerves and offered timely advice. We laughed, we cried, and we laughed some more. I'll hold those memories close to my heart and look forward to the lifetime friendships that were created because I chose the Universal pageant system.

I can truly say I have never come across a pageant like this before; it's one of a kind. A system that stands for empowering women, values contestants and their families. Integrity, professionalism and Honesty were the qualities that stood out about the system. The whole pageant week was very professional from the staff to the judges, previous winners, photographers, choreographers everyone that was part of the system was very committed and helpful, thank you! The contestants that participated were very caring and really remarkable women; so passionate about what they stand for, goal orientated and driven. I was really inspired to be part of this group of women that participated.
A system that caters for married and divorced women with or without a family, women with all shapes and sizes and color.

Things that really stood out for me was the trip to Lake Tahoe. The view was breath taking! The seminar, I had to excuse myself from the seminar as I was not feeling well, in the passage I found one of the contestants crying, I asked her what happened? She replied I am just so overwhelmed by the seminar to think I once lived on the street and look where I am today. Today I am able to help people living on the street. My heart just popped, I was able to encourage and motivate her when I saw her the next day. She was so Happy!

We received our score sheets and judges comments. No other pageant does and that showed me the integrity of the pageant and that it was unbiased. I am sad that not many contestants were able to see my personality due to the fact that I was sick and voiceless but it once again made me realize how powerless a woman can feel when she has no voice and it motivated me even more to become a voice for women. I am so excited and I am really looking forward to introduce my beautiful country to all my sister queens, pageant director and all the Amazing people that is part of the Mrs Universal pageant. I am honored to be an Ambassador for the Mrs Universal brand and know that 2016 is going to be the best year of my life with God by my side, directing my steps.

I have been competing in pageants since I was 16 years old.  I have seen it all.  I researched all the Mrs. pageants and finally decided on Universal Pageant system, and I am so glad I did.  This organization has restored my faith in pageants!  The director, staff and queens were never far away during my reign as Mrs. Connecticut.  They supported me, encouraged me and helped me prepare for the national pageant.  Victoria is so well organized and available that I rarely needed to ask any questions.

The National/International event in Reno this year was run extremely smooth.  Everything started on time, was organized perfectly and in the location that we were told.  We were treated like Royalty everywhere we went and our trip to Lake Tahoe was amazing!  One of my favorite events during the week was the seminar.  It was not an event that we had to sit and listen to.  It was an event where we listened, laughed, cried and participated in as a family.  We were reminded that pageantry is not about what we get as title holders, but what we get to GIVE back!  The stage setup for finals was stunning, the show started promptly and we had plenty of help from the staff.

The title holders for this pageant system were far superior than any I have seen.  What these women stand for, how they have represented themselves and their states and the beauty that radiates from deep down inside is exactly what I had hoped to find.
Universal Pageant Productions prides itself on it's integrity and that is what ultimately drew me to them.  After my 9 months of being Mrs. Connecticut and now Mrs. USA Universal, I have realized that they stand true to that trait.  This system is the ONLY system that congratulates and supports ALL other title holders and women.  They take "Women supporting Women" to the highest level. I couldn't be more proud to represent this system and I can't wait to see all the amazing women that follow after me.

After reentry on to the pageant scene three years ago, I can truly say that the US Universal pageant is unlike any other pageant system I have ever competed in! The first experience I have with the director, Victoria, was a chat via Facebook messenger. I had just finished competing in another pageant and was a little disappointed in the way things turned out due to my efforts that I had invested in that particular system and my own personal journey. I quickly realized that Victoria was very real, cared about what I was saying and how I was feeling, and truly understood where I was coming from! I will admit, at first, I wasn't completely sure that I had wanted to compete in this system, but I am very glad that I did and not because I ended up winning the national title either!

I met the most wonderful women from not only across the country, but from around the world! I have formed friendships that I know are going to last in addition to gaining several good old fashioned pen pals! Most of the ladies that I had the privilege of meeting were real and down to Earth, not your typical "Pageant Patty". Everyone seemed to be there for the right reasons instead of chasing a crown! Also, I have never been involved in a system where you got to know your fellow contestants before pageant orientation! I thought this was a great idea, and gave you the opportunity to get to know everyone before actually seeing them, not to mention getting to learn everyone's name! For the first time EVER, I think I knew just about every single person's name that I took the stage with...International contestants included! This tells you a lot about the director as well. She wants to do and giver her best to make your experience in the US Universal system unique and memorable!

The staff and the current and former titleholders was also top notch! Leading up to the pageant, I was able to reach out and talk to the current and former titleholders about any questions and concerns that I had. They were all great in helping me to prepare for everything and anything I felt that I needed to know before arriving in Reno for pageant week. Rehearsals were productive, but we were allotted time to converse with each other, take selfies, "Go Live", etc. Working with George Brooks and John were also fantastic. I would be forgetting something if I failed to mention how amazing it was to work with the pageant photographer, Christina Crooks, from Two C's Photography. She is by far the best pageant photographer I have ever worked! She captured your "money shot" in less than five minutes! I don't know how she did it, but I could not be more pleased with my pictures from the pageant, and I look forward to working with her in the future!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, Victoria is fabulous to work with! She wants nothing bu the best for her system, brand, and above all, you the contestant. She goes above and beyond to make you feel accepted and part of a family. She picked a great panel of judges, and she made it very clear as to what she and they were looking for in a titleholder. I am thrilled to be part of such a wonderful system, and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for the US Universal pageant system.

My pageant journey has only just started so I was beyond thrilled when I was asked to represent my country on an International level in the Universal system. From the very beginning my interactions with the pageant director were 100% easy. Before I commit to anything I like to make sure that I am crystal clear on what is expected of me from the lead up, through to pageant week and thereafter. As I had never entered a pageant at an International level before and did not have a director in my country to help me, I sent approximately 20 emails (no word of a lie) to Victoria, the Universal system pageant director, each time asking new questions as to what was involved and what would I need.
Each and every single time, my emails were responded to within a few hours (irrespective of the time difference) to no more than 24 hours later. Each question was answered diligently and professionally and this occurred right up until the day I left to board the plane headed to Reno, Nevada.

I had zero reason to stress about anything and despite travelling alone overseas to compete in a pageant that I felt was so far out of my depth. I had never felt more organised or supported. Victoria and her team had everything organised for us and the events all went smoothly and were fun and interactive. Granted there were a few hiccups during the rehearsals, as is the case with any large event, however all these questions, issues were resolved swiftly and with the highest level of professionalism. Everyone understood where they were meant to be and at what time and all expectations were met with no cause for complaint.

Being in this pageant system not only confirmed the feelings I had after I entered my very first pageant but have instilled in me a desire to continue competing and spreading the word about my platform. The friends I have made and the memories I have shared will stay with me till the very end of my days and I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience with the Universal system. I was so lucky to have been able to experience a real live US pageant and not only experience the difference in culture, but to have placed 1st runner-up truly made my journey more memorable.

Thank you Victoria and the team at Universal pageants, for making this Aussie feel at home before, during and after.

I had an AMAZING experience with Mrs. USA Universal!!! I have been participating in the world of pageantry (as a competitor, as an attendee, as a judge, etc) for over 20 years & The Universal Pageant organization exceeded ALL of my expectations! I felt immediate support from Victoria, the pageant staff and the sisterhood of previous Titleholders ... It was unlike anything I have EVER experienced. I felt and greatly appreciated the diversity and the beYOUty of each contestant during pageant week and beyond. Personal growth and celebrating the best version of yourself is at the forefront of this organization. Thank you for caring for each and every one of us, for celebrating the unique beauty each of us brings to the world, for empowering and supporting our community service ... I truly felt I had EVERY opportunity to Dare. Dream. Believe.

This pageant is family centered, organized, timely, honest, loving, empowering and extremely professional. What a blessing to be a part of such a state-of-the-art organization!!

I had a wonderful week competing at Mrs. USA Universal 2016. Immediately upon my arrival, Victoria greeted me downstairs and made sure I had everything I needed for the hotel. The events were very organized and well-executed. Starting off with an evening gown shoot really increased my confidence and set a great tone for the week. The pageant ran smoothly all week, and all of the contestants were very kind and helpful. I finally feel like I have found a pageant that matches my passions and strengths, and it is exciting to see such a focus highlighting women with a successful career and strong community service record. I received great feedback from the staff and judges, and I appreciate seeing my scores and ranking. This pageant stands out compared to all others I have competed in. It makes a big difference when the organization really cares about you and provides you the support you need to have a successful year. I've had several unique opportunities for interviews and appearances that would not have happened without this title.

The Mrs. US Universal pageant is an all-inclusive, professionally run system that promotes and embodies everything that pageantry truly stands for: integrity, sophistication & substance, inspiration, personal and professional growth and comradery; it is sure to include women from all walks of life and all backgrounds. The director, Victoria Hughes, is warm, welcoming, friendly and approachable, which makes the decision to become a part of her system an easy one. From the swift and effective communication regarding competition requirements and deadlines, to the committed staff, the entire system is very well organized and the commitment from everyone involved truly shows.

The entire week at nationals is well thought out and planned accordingly; offering both personal and professional growth, to the contestants through multiple seminars and classes. Contestants are also welcomed and encouraged to forge bonds with fellow queens throughout the week through participation in both, pre-planned activities and free time to engage in leisure activities of their choosing. The photographer available is nothing short of amazing. Victoria certainly put her time and effort into selecting someone that is not only talented, but also extremely personable and easy to work with. The staff is made up of passionate individuals who truly care about each contestant and her personal development and self-esteem throughout the week and they go out of their way to offer invaluable insight and appraisal on stage presence to ensure each woman is being the best version of herself.

Their adoration for the director and the system as a whole, is very evident in their actions and continued involvement, which speaks volumes. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and really look forward to continuing to promote and serve as an ambassador for the US Universal system and Yellow Diamond Productions.

Many accolades have been provided by former contestants about the US Universal pageants, and I agree with them all.  This is an organized pageant with a Director and staff who care about the contestants, and who work hard to make the pageant experience one you will love.

There are many aspects of the pageant that are worthy of praise, and I would like to highlight how US Universal Pageants sets itself apart from other pageants regarding appearances.  Many other Directors require appearances every month but only consider glamorous activities while wearing a crown as appearances. This pageant considers any community service activity as an appearance, and encourages community service of your choosing as the preferred way to showcase your reign.  Signing autographs at an event is great, but there is no pressure to do that if you prefer to spend your time doing hands-on volunteering instead.  I personally enjoy attending glamorous events while wearing my banner and supporting charities.  But I also love volunteering to serve homeless people and animals, and though I do those activities without wearing a banner, those activities are valued just as much at US Universal Pageants.  I highly recommend joining the Universal family, where the focus is on letting you decide how to be your best you.

I am brand new to pageantry and had a delightful experience meeting some of the most kind, remarkable, intelligent and accomplished women in the country and world at the Mrs. USA Universal Pageant!  Victoria Hughes, our Director was organized, honest, competent, helpful and completely transparent in every facet of the competition.  Our staff of volunteers, choreographers, and queens were gems, each of them.

I would highly recommend this pageant system to women who want to meet and compete with like-minded, civic-oriented ladies.  I hear it’s like no other pageant system, but I have nothing to compare it to.  I said I was a “one and done competitor” and that I am!  When you have a terrific time and no regrets, why attempt to find something better.  I was lucky enough to try and enjoy the BEST the first time!

US Universal.

The pageant was professional, timely, fun and honest. I have every intention of returning!

I am so thankful I participated in the Mrs. USA Universal 2016 pageant. The organization is phenomenal and truly treats each contestant with the utmost respect, kindness and heart. This was my first Mrs pageant and it blew my beliefs away! I had always heard horror stories of Mrs pageants; the contestants are only in it to win it, director's are absent, its all about fame not community.... WRONG.

The Universal system is a place of love, acceptance and strength. Each contestant was amazing, strong, helpful, kind and of course beautiful. But they made it about helping each other and creating friendships that will last a life time. I am so proud to be part of the 2016 class and to have all these women as my friends. They go above and beyond for their communities and lead by example of what a title holder should be.

Not only do the titleholders set the bar high, but so does the director and staff. I truly appreciated our conversations that this is not just a beauty pageant. We were encouraged do be at events, be part of our community and really be activists for what we believe in. So often you see women win the crown and that's it. It is only about photo shoots, clothing, modeling and the results of winning. Of course we have amazing sponsors with this system, but we also have new amazing title holders that have already hit the ground running just weeks of being crowned. That is because of our staff and director and the message this system gives to the community.

I am so proud to be part of a system that truly cares about the contestants. If someone is sick, everyone is there to try and help you feel better. Women were caring and helpful every step of the way. Staff were always available to answer questions and give words of advice. The director, Victoria took time to make sure we were all on the same page and had all the updated information as soon as possible. Honesty and integrity are part of her and her system. I received my pageant scores and comments within a week of competing and that was a HUGE help for me. I am not aware of any other system that does that and let's you truly grow from your scores. I have so much respect for Victoria and the Universal system for doing that.

I encourage every Ms, Mrs and Mr to compete in this system. You will fall in love with it and never regret it.

I had a wonderful experience during  pageant week! I came to this pageant with a broken heart and a bitter experience from a previous pageant. When I met Victoria, she comforted and promised me that in her pageant there would be no such issues! I arrived during pageant week at 1 am, and to my utter surprise, my director was in lobby with her bright and sweet queen Misti, and called me by my name. They took me to my room carrying my luggage. I had teary eyes and couldn't believe it!

The next day at orientation it was so warm and wonderful. We all bonded and went over the details of how we are going to get through pageant week. We had a day out at Lake Tahoe. Coming from a Muslim back ground, I wasn't comfortable with a bathing suit. That was handled by my director in a very respective manner. I was told it was perfectly alright that I didn't  want to wear swim suit, and that I was still a part of group picture! All and all, I saw fairness, dignity and equal treatment to all.

I was totally in love with my US Universal pageant and I cried several times out of happiness. I am very thankful to the entire team and director and don't mind working with them in the future if they need my help!!

I am more than satisfied with my experience with the Universal Pageants system. In fact, I am extremely thankful that I was able to take part in such a fun, inviting, and supportive pageant. It was fun to get to know many of the other ladies over the course of the last year and finally meeting them in Reno was just the icing on the cake. Even though I didn’t place Top 12 or win an award, I feel that I’ve won so many other things just by participating. In addition to gaining more self-confidence and growing as a person, I’ve made some new friends for life and learned A LOT of things about what it takes to compete at the national level. Did I also mention all of the great and inspiring women from around the globe that I got to share the stage with? It is so hard for me to pick out my favorite part of pageant week because there was just so much to soak in and I enjoyed every last minute of it…even rehearsals. Some of the staff even took the time to give extra walking and posing help to those of us who needed it. Also, it felt like a family atmosphere and the entire staff really cared about us as individuals. I’ll be taking a couple years away from pageants to finish grad school and expand our family, but once I decide to get back in the game I will definitely come back to the Mrs. US Universal Pageant. Thank you so much to Victoria and her team for making my first national pageant so memorable.

At US Universal Pageants we can be ourselves. We made new friends and memories to last a lifetime! The friendly and courteous staff was there with us every step of the way. Being part of US Universal Pageants made a positive difference in my life. Definitely took me out of my comfort zone. It helped me to improve and emphasize my public speaking skills, as well as learning more about my own style and fashion. Us Universal Pageants is the best system there is out there. They’re like a family, that’s exactly what it is a family. The girls support each other and continue to follow one another after their titles end. Once a queen always a sister queen. Victoria is very organized, awesome and caring Director. Nothing but positive people and positive things. I love being part of this pageant circuit with people who love to do positive things in their state.

In 2015 I decided to retire from competing in pageantry. I've been competing since I was 14 yrs old and was feeling burnt out like, it was time for me to move to something else. A pageant friend on mine told me to look into competing in the USA Universal pageant and I ignored her. A few weeks later she called me and encouraged me to at least email the director and I did. Victoria corresponded with me via email for almost three (3) hours answering every question I had with detailed answers.

I was so impressed by her that I signed up that day!!! During pageant week I was impressed again by how Victoria knew all of our names and addressed us as such. She truly cared about everyone and wanted to make sure we all had a great time. In the first few days of pageant week I knew that if I didn't win that I would be back to compete again next year. I didn't win, but we couldn't have a better representative than Kristina...the judge's did a great job picking an amazing Ms. US Universal 2016...and, I'm signed up to compete next year!!!

Thanks Victoria for putting your heart and soul into this system and I can't wait to see you again next year.

Sincerely,

My family and I had a wonderful time at the 2016 Mrs./Ms. USA Universal pageant held in Reno, Nevada. Victoria was well organized from the very beginning! We were given draft schedules of all events several months before the pageant, which allowed us to shop for everything we would need. The swimsuit photo shoot at Lake Tahoe was an extra bonus! The production was very professional and very well organized. Every single person associated with the pageant was kind, helpful, professional and committed to making the final show perfect! Thank you to everyone involved for making it a great week!

The Mrs. US Universal pageant system brings together inspired, passionate, genuine women from all walks of life, of all shapes, sizes and colors. It’s a true representation of a system celebrating what really makes us beautiful. Unlike other pageants, this pageant is a sisterhood. You will form bonds the second you contact any staff member, and any former or present contestant. We are all in this together and we all want to see each other succeed in life and in each other’s platform. When you join the Mrs. US Universal pageant system you can truly be yourself and not worry about fitting into a specific mold. Your greatest strength is you and in this pageant system they really want to get to know YOU. They want to see your personality, what you are passionate about and get a good sense of who you are as a woman and how you would be as the titleholder. This pageant celebrate sand promotes what makes each of us unique and beautiful, and I’m so blessed to be a part of it.

As a person who has been involved in pageantry for over 28 years I’ve seen the good, the bad and the ugly in this business. I have competed, judged, coached, mentored, won, lost, directed - you name it!! When I stopped competing, I was asked to start styling some private clients in pageantry. As a Master Stylist for over 34 years, I found this experience gave me a new perspective in pageantry. I get to work closely with delegates and share in their emotion and excitement of competition. I get to travel to many different nationals. Its been a great experience – one that gives me great pleasure! I get to hear about every show from a delegates perspective.

One National and International pageant that keeps me impressed and my clients excitedly talk about in my chair is the Mrs. US and Ms. US Universal Pageant! I have been with this pageant from the beginning and I have been witness to its growth and its glamour. I see amazing queens crowned. I have seen delegates return and compete again. That impresses me because it’s the mark of a great over all experience for the delegates!

I sincerely encourage any woman of substance, heart and soul to participate in this pageant. If you have a message of hope or cause you champion and you want to be heard, make a difference and have an awesome time doing it, this is your pageant! It is highly organized, has a wonderful and kind staff, former queens lends support and are always part of production. Most importantly the director understands pageantry. She understands the importance of promoting her State, National and International Queens. She understands the ups and downs of pageantry. She understands production and the importance of creating a great experience for the delegates too. The national schedule is full of fun and ladies---- there is real time worked into your national schedule for relaxation, family time, girl time or beauty time in my chair…time for everyone to enjoy!

The US Universal system is growing. They need delegates who share their vision and want to be part of a system that not only promotes community and activism, but promotes friendship and sisterhood. I know you’ll enjoy and feel a part of something that is quality, one you would be proud to bring family and friends to! Think about it………… you deserve to compete where you are valued and respected for the amazing person you are!

Being a part of this pageant has been the greatest experience for me. The professionalism, the staff, the production, the director, all of it was phenomenonal! The whole week flowed incredibly smooth, even rehersals were quick and easy.. Which is unheard of! What really impressed me was the way the director handled things, the way she truly and genuinely cared for the contestants. I've never seen so much heart and soul in a pageant- as I have in Mrs US Universal, not to mention, the quality of the contestants..They were some of the most accomplished, passionate, loving and caring woman I've ever met.  These woman, whom I now call my sisters, have forever impacted my life. I strongly encourage any woman who has either dreamed of pursuing a Mrs. pageant or just wrestled with the thought, to go for it...You only live once, so live life to the fullest. Dare to make a difference by giving back to your community. Nothing is so rewarding as seeing a need and becoming that difference to other human beings. Involve your family and make it a team project. Get your community involved. Maybe you will be the catalyst! This can be the start of it all! God bless you!

My experience at The Mrs. USA Universal Pageant was incredible.  Since my first contact with Director Victoria Hughes she has been a friend and mentor.  She gives her all to this pageant and each one of the contestants.  She genuinely cares and is always available to answer questions or just talk. The former queens were extremely helpful and spent a lot of time making sure each delegate was comfortable on stage.  We were set up to succeed not only at this pageant but at the next level as well.  The production was high quality and I was proud to be part of it. Throughout the week delegates were given time to get to know each other and bond as sisters.  I met amazing women with incredible stories of strength.  There was very little stress, and I felt everything we did had a purpose and was well organized.  I feel I am a better queen for my experience at the Mrs USA Universal pageant.  I am more prepared to compete in the future and I have a clearer vision of what I want to accomplish as a state title holder.  I would highly recommend this pageant to any woman who is dedicated to bringing a voice to her cause.

The US Universal pageant has been an experience of self growth, gained confidence, the ability to step out of my comfort zone and the realization that everyone is dealing their own battles. All of which, have enabled me to become a better version of myself.
Victoria Hughes, the owner of this pageant system is passionate about her work and her contestants. She takes the time to get to know each contestant's stories, goals and dreams. Victoria and her staff are organized, respond promptly and offer support throughout the year. I have been so blessed to have been a part of this pageant system. I will forever be grateful for the opportunities it gave me.

I truly enjoyed being Mrs. Wyoming US Universal. I was able to promote volunteerism and be that catalyst in the community that encourages others to volunteer for a variety of causes. I will continue to promote volunteerism and this pageant system even beyond my reign.

Pageantry became a part of my life starting at the age of 18th. I have competed as a Teen, a Miss, a Ms. and now a Mrs. Before signing up for the USA Universal system, I had jumped back into pageantry the year prior as a Mrs. Some of the items that attracted me to the Mrs USA Universal program were: Cost, location, NO additional ad page costs, live web cam for pageant, as well as having direct upfront communication with the national director any time I needed something or had a question.  During nationals week there was a deep bond between the Mrs, along with encouragement of each one of us as a contestant, as a person, as a woman and as a wife. I had never experienced that in any pageant let alone by the director of the pageant. It felt very family like. I did not place this year, and I did not bring home any other awards; however, I felt welcomed, and I felt sincerely appreciated for being the woman I am.  Core values likes these in national pageants are hard to come by. I am happy I had the opportunity to compete in this Mrs. pageant. It put a good vibe in my pageant belt, and for that I am forever grateful.

After taking a break from competing in pageants, I decided I was ready to start competing again. Unfortunately, for the longest time I thought my pageant days were done and over. I've competed at other national pageants where tattoos are looked down on. At U.S. Universal that is not the case! I did not cover up any of my tattoos and I placed in the top ten! This system is a sisterhood, each lady had a platform she was passionate about. I was so excited to win the platform award! For me, that was almost as good as winning the whole pageant! It reminded me that I compete in pageants for many reasons, but mostly because I can share my platform with others. Victoria is an amazing director that cares for each contestant. We are not a number to her. She wants to be sure we all had a fantastic experience! Victoria is without a doubt ahead of the pageant times. She is taking pageantry to a new level and I'm excited to watch this system grow. The Mrs. U.S. Universal pageant is a MUST! If you have pageant goals and dreams, be sure to check this pageant out!

My first pageant that I competed in was when I was in my teens. Many years later after marrying and having a family I entered a Mrs. Pageant and really enjoyed both the competition and the sisterhood. The Mrs. USA Universal was my second Mrs. Pageant and it was an incredible experience for me! When I first contacted Victoria Hughes who is the owner and director of the Mrs. USA Universal Pageant, she immediately responded even though she was on her way to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to support Mrs. USA, Sabrina Pinion, in Sabrina’s quest and eventual victory for the Mrs. Universe 2014 Crown! Victoria really cares about all of her queens and is very receptive to answering questions. I was truly amazed that she was so willing to respond to me so quickly and efficiently. The sisterhood and camaraderie among the sister state queens was wonderful and it was so refreshing to see ladies helping and caring for one another. I feel that I have made some lasting friendships with some extraordinary women who are beautiful both inside and out. I applaud ALL of us for working so hard to share our platforms, but especially Director Hughes, who encouraged us to be educative titleholders who really care about making a difference in other peoples lives. This is truly a pageant system that helps you to promote your cause. If you want an exceptional place to represent your great state then, do not hesitate to join this pageant system!

I did not grow up in pageants, but I was always a girly-girl prancing around in my tutu and bows. My mom was a pageant queen so I guess you could say I followed in her footsteps... at the ripe age of 30. In 2013 a dear friend of mine, Christie Pearson, showcased a new pageant she had entered. I was extremely curious to find out anything and everything I could. The Director, Victoria, was a wealth of knowledge and communicated immediately back to every inquiry I had. I was impressed! Something different about this organization compared to other Mrs. Pageants is the precursor to competition week. Mrs. US Universal organization's belief is to know your competitors, not as a negative, but to create lasting friendships. Getting to know everyone prior to traveling thousands of miles was a special treat. We all felt we knew each other—who we could count on to sew us into a dress, had the most experience for what not to do, who had the best duct tape technique and pageant horror stories. No matter how many miles we were apart, our sisterhood started strong. After a few mishaps in 2013 I swore off pageants on the slow ride back to Texas. Maybe it just wasn't for me. What changed my mind was the personal call I received. That call is what separates a pageant business from someone who truly cares about their contestants. Victoria did not have to call me, but she did...and I came back the next year to compete in Rhode Island.

The Mrs. US Universal pageant is an experience everyone should have. The staff truly cares about you as a contestant and strives to make your competition week as relaxed and enjoyable as possible. I am extremely grateful to have followed in the footsteps of Amanda Grad and Sabrina Pinon. This pageant system has opened so many doors and networking opportunities for me not only as a Mrs. US Universal, but as a contestant championing my passion, breast cancer awareness. Victoria Hughes is not just any pageant director, she becomes your friend. To me her integrity, passion, and determination speaks to my heart. I am honored to have represented her as the interim Mrs. US Universal 2014.

I was never a girly girl. I was always the pickup truck driving, horse riding musician. When I was diagnosed with MS I was 26. My boys were 2 & 6. It took 7 years for me to fully accept it and really start to fight back. Not only did I get out of my wheelchair, but I was regaining the old me. Following a setback in 2013, I was back in that chair. My goal was to walk again so I could participate in the annual MS Jet Pull. My dream of someday beating MS, raising awareness, helping to help to find a cure...all fueled the fire. I met my goal. From wheelchair to pulling a jet with friends in 3 months. That's where I met Victoria. When she later contacted me about this pageant, I was thrilled at the opportunity to try something new and different (to me) and have an opportunity to not only bring awareness to MS, but to show other patients that life and the dreams that you have don't have to end because you have MS. I had almost no pageant experience, but so much information was provided and attention to delegates needs and questions, that I was quickly at ease and felt prepared by the arrival of pageant week. Sometimes you have to get out of the box to see the surprise you thought was inside. I'm sure glad I did.

I was honored to have been crowned Mrs. USA Universal 2014 last June in Providence Rhode Island. Less than 2 months later I was off to Kuala Lumpur Malaysia to take part in the Mrs Universe 2014 Pageant. After 9 days of competition, appearances and events, I was crowned Mrs Universe 2014! I feel so fortunate and blessed to have found the Mrs. US Universal pageant system last year. Many of you have heard the story but it is certainly worth telling again. I sent an information inquiry form to Victoria Hughes, Owner/Director Mrs USA Universal and within 15 minutes, I actually had a reply to which I replied and she again responded right away!  "Now you might think,"whats the big deal about that!" Well for those of you who have competed before, especially in Mrs pageants, know that you rarely get an immediate response; in the past I had not gotten responses at all in some cases and if I did they were one or two lines. Victoria not only responded right away, but she was literally in Aruba with Amanda Grad getting ready for finals at Mrs Universe 2013!  I was blown away at her attention and professional manner. Having been involved in pageants for nearly 30 years and being the owner of "Pageant Pros Consultants and Mentors, this was a breath of fresh air! Victoria was by my side at Mrs Universe 2014 and has been open and communicative and takes a personal and individual approach to each of her contestants. I often refer to her as an equal opportunity director meaning, she is there for all contestant ,if you reach out or need anything ,she is there for you and does not play favorites. She has a fair and equal pageant and unbelievably sound and exceptional panel of judges. So if you are contemplating the Mrs. USA Universal pageant, know that you are in good hands and we are ALL here for you!

After taking a 30 year hiatus from pageantry, I decided I would give it one more try and compete in the Mrs US Universal Pageant in 2013. I am so glad that I did! I could not have found a more caring, wonderful group of ladies as well as the best director EVER!!! Victoria has such vision for this pageant and all the contestants. She was never more than an email or text away. She is always willing to do anything in her power to help her contestants succeed. I was so thrilled with the Mrs US Universal system, that I have joined the staff to help with the upcoming pageant that will be held in my hometown, Reno, Nevada.

I'm not even sure where to begin..... My time as Mrs. Arizona US Universal and then after winning the National title, as Mrs. US Universal 2013, has been some of the best time in my life. Having the opportunity to travel and promote, not only my own platform, but also support several other causes, is truly what the positive power of a crown and banner is really about! Victoria is more than just a director, she is a friend..... A friend not only to me, but with every delegate. As Mrs. US Universal, I represented our beautiful country at the 2013 Mrs. Universe pageant in Aruba. Not only a once in a lifetime trip with my husband and director there to support me, but it can proudly say I came in 3rd runner up and represented the organization well. USA Universal is a family and I am proud to still be a part of this system.

When something is worth coming back to, that is a positive testament of a good thing! This holds true to the Mrs. US Universal Pageant. My reign as Mrs. Colorado US Universal 2013 was the most rewarding and positive experience. From an energetic and caring director with over 17 years' experience and a supportive staff, it's no wonder she has so many returning contestants and rave reviews. Communication, attention to detail, and the support she shows and gives to each contestant makes for remarkable pageant experience. In my 13 years of pageant experience, I must say that I have never encountered a more genuine and caring pageant director than Victoria Hughes. Even before we met at pageant week, I felt like we had already bonded! I ended up becoming very ill during nationals week, just the day before competition. Not only did Victoria and her staff make sure I was comfortable, stress-free, and got chicken noodle soup and rest, but I noted many instances of them going out of their way throughout the week to ensure we ALL were accommodated and cared for. It’s the little things that really do count!

It is a rare and wonderful thing to encounter a system that -- in the sea of pageants and directors who only want your money -- holds its own by operating with integrity, and truly values women of substance and quality. Victoria does her best to attract the best of the best, and that becomes more than apparent when you’re standing in a room full of women you’re supposed to be competing with, and they’re all encouraging and cheering you on, as opposed to tearing you down. THAT is powerful, and THAT will change your life.

Whether you’re a seasoned pageant pro who’s lost your faith in pageantry, (like I had), or if you’re a prospective first time contender, I can’t recommend a better system in which to compete today. You’ll grow in ways you’ve never imagined, and gain a whole new extended family!
